Sun Moon Lake Crystal B & B

This B&B is located at Ita Shao area, which is away from the more commercialized and crowded part of Sun Moon Lake at ShuiShe. Highly recommend Ita Shao for those who prefer to be away from the main crowds, although it means a slightly longer travel by ferry or shuttle bus from ShuiShe. This B&B is a short 2-min walk from the Itashao jetty, although suggest to ask the visitor centre staff for directions to walk there as the place is not visible from the jetty. But the B&B itself is not far off from the main shopping and eatery areas as it is just a 1-min walk away. The exterior of the building looked ordinary, but to our pleasant surprise, this B&B is quiet, clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. We could easily access Wifi from our family room which is on the 2nd floor. The breakfast provided was the local style of porridge and various condiments, which added to our local experience. The service provided by the family, especially Mdm Chen, was excellent. She went the extra mile to see to our needs, and took time to converse with us during breakfast. Unfortunately, the family is only conversant in Mandarin and local dialects. I highly recommend this location for couples, and families.
