The owner was very kind to pick us up from train station and sent us back on the another day also. The hostel gave us a calm, quiet and comfortable environment as the decorations was very simple. There were some books and DVD for guests to borrow to watch also. There was no TV in the room as the owner would like the guests to communicate together rather than focusing on electronic appliances. It was a very nice to get a rest especially for the busy workers. One disadvantage is only the location is a bit far from train station, however, taking taxi in Hualien would not cost much and if the house owner is free, for sure he doesn't mind to pick up. For sure I would like to stay there again.
