The Home of Traveller

The hostel is located 5 minutes far from Hualien station, making it already a good choice. The fact is that the road is full of hostels, but this one shines for being really cozy and run by nice people. Only one person in the staff can speak english, but it is enough because he's almost always at the desk or he's otherwise easily reachable. The room i stayed in, a single room, was minimal but cheerfully furnished, with a japanese like futon and wooden parquet flooring. The only downside is having to share the bathroom, but the cheap price will make you forgive the owners! Andrea Franzoni, Italy
