I was fortunate that a room was available when I arrived to the hotel before 10AM! The staff was very nice, polite and attentive. The room was clean, bright, spacious and had everything that I need to relax after a long flight. The bed with soft pillow was very comfortable. Although the hotel location is far from the center of the city, it took me only 10 minutes to walk to the train station and then stopped at the SBB office where I could ask for instructions on how to use public transportation for the first time in Zurich. A 24hr ticket costs about US$12.00 will allow you to use either train or tram to easily get to the city center and back to the hotel.
