Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is above a restaurant (which doubles as the breakfast area), so when we arrived early we left the baggage with the wait staff and they moved it into our room once the room was ready. Location was great, easy access to trams and good dining.

Great location, great service,  nice people

Very nice hotel in old town; great staff.  Excellent shopping and dining in walking distance, but parking is bad.  Had to park in a garage three blocks away and was charged over $50 for one night.  Better if you arrive in a cab.

Lovely boutique hotel, the rooms were clean and a decent size for a European city. It had a great location, right in Old Town and walkable to all the sights and the main train station. For being in such a busy tourist area the rooms were very quiet. The lift stopped working a few days while we were there and there wasn't anywhere secure to store bags before check-in or after checkout. The hotel is above a steakhouse restaurant and the common hallways did smell of food and meat during the evening but the rooms were always fresh.

Very good location in the old town area. The break first was excellent.

Well located. Walking distance to everthing.

Clean and excellent service. Breakfast was great and the staff was helpful!

Nice area, easily walkable to the train station. About the hotel, it is true about the check-in. There is no dedicated reception. To check-in and out you have to enter through the restaurant. Once they give you a key card you have to enter and exit through the back of the building. The room was good temperature but a bit small. It is quite loud outside but if you have the windows closed you can barely hear anything. Lots of bars around and restaurants. So at night it gets really busy and loud. The only thing i could say is they could do better with the breakfast options.

We felt our stay was comfortable.  Quaint hotel  above the restuarant . It was Clean and sufficient enough for our one night stay.  We arrived earlier than check- in time but. We're nice enough to hold our bags.  The breakfast was nicely prepared.  Great location for near the train station and walk about shops and food choices.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the location is amazing. 5 minutes from the main station and walkable to everything you want in Zurich. The staff are fantastic. The (included) breakfast buffet is delicious and varied. And although there is a bar opposite, the building is so well wound proofed that with the windows closed you hear nothing!

Hotel Old Town is situated in a very convenient area close to the central railway station, buses and trams so it’s easy to explore different parts of Zurich and beyond.  Although the hotel is located in a busy street in the Old Town, the rooms are very quiet, even those overlooking the main street. Check in is in the steakhouse restaurant situated below the accommodation, but it is quick and easy.  Breakfast was included, and although basic (could do with a bit more fruit) it was an adequate meal (eggs, cheese, meats, muesli, corn flakes, fruit, some salad, plain and flavoured yoghurt, bread, jams, coffee and tea).  Staff were very friendly and helpful.  Room was of a good size and very comfortable.  Would recommend to those looking for a reasonable priced hotel in Zurich that is close to everything and has all the basics.

The place was very clean and well kept. Staff was very nice. Access is quite different and elevator was only big enough for two people, two backpacks. Rooms are very small, but extremely cleanwith little room to open your luggage. Wifi and tv didn't work for us. We tried multiple times. Breakfast was pretty good.

Everything was amazing, including location. I was happy with the price. They were able to give me early check-in and kindly brought our luggage to the room.  The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious.We stayed on a, Saturday night and there was a street party in that very vibrant neighbourhood. The sound was contained by doors and windows and i slept like a log.

Nice quaint hotel with check-in at the steakhouse restaurant on-site rather than a front desk. Very clean, we enjoyed the comfy bed and close proximity to everything. For Americans used to icy drinks, there are no bags to be bought at local stores. The bar/restaurant on property gave us a glass of cubes to help us chill our drinks in the unusually hot weather there. Would recommend....

Nice place-Enjoyed our stay

Parking was not ideal.  Had to park in a parking garage across the river and drag our bags across cobblestone streets to the hotel.  The parking garage wasn't super far, but still exhausting being 7 months pregnant in the heat.  This hotel did have the BEST air conditioning of any place we stayed in Europe.  Absolutely amazing.  Restaurant downstairs.  We didn't try it though.  Breakfast was included.  Good location to walk around and explore the city.

My husband and i stayed here from March 9,2023 thru March 13, 2023.  We arrived early on the 9th and left our bags with them as we had some tours to go on.  We returnted at 8pm and were handed the keys to our room.  They brought our bags up to our room while we were out which was very  nice.  The room was a nice size, bed was very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond.  The resturant downstairs was amazing.  Breakfast we served free of charge every morning and was delicious.
