Haus Perelia C

We usually spend our winter holidays in Zermatt but we had always stayed in a hotel so, this year, we have given a try to an apartment. Haus Perelia is pretty well located: only two minutes by feet from the church and no more than 5 minutes from the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise lift. We had a small apartment on the second floor right in front of the owner's flat. Despite being the smaller, actually it accomodates only 2 people, it was spacious, with a sofa in front of the window with a balcony, a queen bed and a kitchenette. All the furniture was almost new and clean. Great view from both windows. The bathroom isn't spacious but it works. Only soap is provided, so you have to bring all the extras (shampoo, hair conditioner, make up remover, etc.). No meals are included. On our arrival the host wasn't at home, we had been warned, but in the evening she came to check if everything was ok. WiFi was a little bit slow. No extra services are included (spa, pool, etc.). The only down side is that the owner require a pre-payment in CHF from your bank account so, unless your account is in CHF, you have to pay a quite high extra amount for taxes and commissions.
