Restaurant le Poussin Champoussin

My friend and I passed through Champoussin on our way to the Dents du Midi trail and stayed one night. Traveling from the U.S., we arrived at the Val d'Illiez train station to find not much in English. Calling Hostel Le Poussin, I spoke with Nanoe who arranged for another hotel employee to pick us up in his car (great hospitality!). Even though we were there in the off-season, we enjoyed hiking around the stunning grounds of the hotel. We also enjoyed the food and beverages in the hotel. The staff (Nanoe, Ilber and Florian) were extremely friendly and we loved hanging out and chatting with them. The room was very clean and the entire hotel was wonderful. As with most traveling, the best experiences are the unplanned ones (as was this). However, I would highly recommend anyone in the area to book a stay here, whether for skiing in the winter, or simply enjoying the amazing scenery in the spring, summer or fall. Two thumbs up and extremely recommended!
