We have been customers of this charming restaurant in Ponte Brolla, just a few kilometers from Locarno and Ascona, for several years and never have been disappointed! But today our lunch was spectacular and that is why I am writing this review. The ever-flowering garden - you can tell that Loredana Menengati has a green thumb - welcomed us with its adjustable awnings (very practical in the summer for those who want to avoid the sun). The lunch of corn salad (formentino) followed by wild turbot fillet with vegetables and finally a hot chocolate cupcake (tortino al cioccolato) was more than perfect. The service as always impeccable. My compliments to chef Marco Menengati who knows how to combine local and international cuisine. Enough parking nearby. Regretfully the lovely winter garden had to be sacrificed to make space for a few more rooms for the hotel. I highly recommend this restaurant in Ticino.
