Chalet Au Cairn is wonderful! This small family run hotel is one of a kind, not just because of the beautiful wood carvings, delicious food and great location, but because of the warmth and friendliness of Tony, Hanna and their family who made us feel at home. We arrived late in the evening well past dinner time hoping to find a snack for the kids. Instead we were served a full 5 course meal which we now know to expect every night from Tony's kitchen. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and came home after a full day with no need to wander around trying to decide where to eat. We just sat at our table and luxuriated in being taken care of. The skiing was great and Saas Fee is charming, but our stay at Au Cairn is what really made this one of our best trips yet.
