My family and I stayed here for 1 week over the Christmas 2014, we were made to feel very welcome (even with excitable noisy children) and the Hotel Manageress Annette was highly accommodating with our Vegetarian and fussy eating children requirements throughout the stay. We took the half board option and was served a soup started (made with vegetables from the hotel garden), salad, main course and dessert. There is an excellent selection of wine and beer available to accompany your meal. Our Family room with balcony was large, very clean, well furnished and serviced every day. There is a family room in the basement next to the warm ski-room with table football which was an instant hit for the children. The hotel is 50 meters away from the Furggstalden lift, Ski Bus stop, Ski School and the excellent Eldorado Ski Hire (recommended) plus other restaurants and bars in the village are located within 5 mins walk. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and village for families visiting the lovely quite village of Saas Almagell. And many thanks to Annette for making our stay a pleasant and enjoyable Christmas.
