We spent one night in the hotel and enjoyed a fabulous 6-course dinner. Before we were invited to a wine tasting in the cellar; all excellent local wines from Valais. In this family-run hotel you feel like part of the family very soon after arriving. The service is very friendly and attentive. The Goms region in Upper Valais and the village of Gluringen may not be known as a touristic hotspot, but it is definitely worth a stay. Also there here multiple opportunities for hikes in the beautiful mountains.
