I have stayed in this apartment for four nights in august 2015. We are a family with an almost 2 year old toddler. The place is very baby friendly.
The apartment is huge, and has everything you will need. It's even better than it looks in the pictures. The owners are very kind and helpfull. They provided everything we could need for ourselves and our baby.
The view from the apartment is brearhtaking. This is for sure the perfect place to stay in Grindelwald. We hope we can come back soon!

Today is thevsecond day of our stays. The reason why I write this review now is It's so great that I can't wait to introduce here.
Very clean as a five star hotel with stunned view of north wall of Aiger and a heavenly village of Grindelwald, large room with brandnew equepments will make you hard to believe.
I'm sure you don't need to find another options of your staying. This is your perfect choice.

We stayed at this apartment for a short 3-night break. Its size, with so much space, is wonderful. There is a superb quality and finish to all the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge/dining fittings, furnishing and equipment. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic views from all the windows of Grindelwald and the Eiger, and the peace and quiet of the location.
The owner's welcome, help, friendliness and pride in the apartment was delightful.
The covered parking for the car was particularly good.
The apartment is in Grund, (past Grund railway station) and is at least a 15-minute walk from the centre of Grindelwald and the nearest shops and restaurants. Make sure you find the precise location and the route to the apartment.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer.

This place is simply stunning. A beautiful apartment in an incredible location. Very well appointed apartment, with all the "mod cons" you could want for. Veranda with breathtaking views of Grindelwald, and the famous mountains. There is parking in a garage but beware that the approach road is very steep and you need to do your homework in the location of the house, although it is in Maadweg 1, exactly as it says! We'll be going back, but for longer as we had only two nights en route to Italy this time.
