The moment we walked in our room and saw the stunning view of the Eiger, we immediately booked another night. I say immediately... The property is run by a couple and we'd spoken to the wife (she was lovely), however when trying to book the second night, we struggled to communicate with her husband. He preceded to take our keys from our hands and once again showed us how to unlock the doors 😬😂 he was very much on a mission and it took some effort to stop him. He didn't understand German or English (between us we spoke both) and eventually (while waving our hands) he stopped and went to find his wife 😅 Don't let that put you off though, as the room was very spacious, and the balcony view is amazing. Grindelwald is a lovely place and you can take the Eiger Express Cable Car to Eigergletscher and Jungfraujoch.
