B&B Alter Hof

Stayed here in one of the rooms at this nice cosy cottage which was a B&B, for 3 nights. I must say the price was very reasonable in comparison to other hotels here in Davos. My room was fantastic! The door and entrance was small, but that was all part of the fun! It was really warm and had a wooden finish (walls and rood were wooden - log cabin style). There was also a radio in the room which I found useful. Unfortunately the owners spoke little English and mostly German, but nonetheless were very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast though continental, was quite substantial and filling. I loved the selection of cheeses put out. One of the them was definitely Appenzellar and the other was probably Gruyere! The coffee was also freshly brewed, French press style! There was also a large and pleasant cat - and he was well trained and groomed. He knew not to enter the guestrooms and remain downstairs. Even though I am not a cat person, this guy was an exception!
