I was a bit scared, reading all the reviews on booking, but everything was really fine, starting with really kind a pleasant assistance from Cetin, supposably a manager of some kind, who helped us with the directions, met us in person. The flat was really great for us, there was a giant flat tv, which we did not use, because we are not used to watch TV, but I guess there is a plenty of people who do, a giant bed, really well equipped kitchen (missing kettle though!) and a bathroom with a bathtub. Everything was clean, but even I got the feeling it's unexperienced men cleaning the room. I mean nothing was dirty, but the first thing we did was wash all the dishes and stuff again. The location is fine regarding the distance to the city centre, but I think it's also located in the only ugly part of Basel. But being it literally just minutes to the river it's no big concern. You don't feel unsafe or something. Definitely recommended.
