Vimmerby Camping Nossenbaden

Very helpful and understanding staff. By mistake I booked for one night later than we actually wanted. They were nice enough to change our reservation. Even if our bungalow was already not available we could stay in one of theirs bed and breakfast rooms. Thank you so much! You are the best!

Very friendly staff, nicely located directly at a lake. We only stayed for one night, if you stay longer you should be fond of kids 😉
Toilets were clean, there are enough options for cooking and cleaning. Astrid Lingrens Värld and älk safaris are close by.

Nice camping site with everything you need. Facilities are good but service a bit slow. Overlooking a lake where you can go for a swim or use one if the small boats for rent. We booked the sauna "by the sea" an evening, very nice!

Very nice and peaceful place to stay and very tent friendly. Clean toilets,showers and dishwashing facilities. Also a common fridge and freezer. 

Beach by the lake is perfect and you can hire boats and private sauna etc for a good price. 

Astrid lidgrens world is close and also grocery markets.

Good place to stay

Nice camping with tent

Camping with tent

Stayed just one night. Breakfast was very basic, and probably better to just get your own. The apartment was very small and was good for one night, but would not stay more than that. Smell of sewage in the bathroom. The surroundings are nice and tranquil. Friendly and helpful staff. 

Apartments not great

When visiting the world of Astrid Lindgren we stayed in a tent on this campground. It was affordable and we loved the location by a lake. In the evenings we seen and played in the beach, perfect for us. Our son also loved the pedal cars. 

However, the facilities could have been cleaner. The kitchen was basic but provided what was needed. The breakfast room was very dark with no lights. There were playground stuff on two spots but both were very small and pretty worn out.

All in all, for our purpose and in the great warm weather this was great but I wouldn't go to this campround for a longer camping holiday.

Camping by a lake

Nice campsite, the location's fantastic. Just outside Vimmerby, it's easily reached by bicycle and you feel like you're camping in pure Swedish nature. The staff was very friendly, but the service building is quite bad. The toilets and showers are all in one very dark, garage style building and there are no seperate men and women areas. Also, when we were there, the showers were very dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The kitchen was in a similar state. We were just outside peak season, so maybe they only clean in the summer months.
