Hemmesåker Bed &Breakfast

Hemmesaker was the first of four locations we stayed at during our holiday in Skane. We wanted somewhere on the south coast to enable us to visit places such as Malmo, Ystad, Skanor and Falsterbo. Hemmersaker, providing lovely accommodation, delicious breakfasts and a proximity to wonderfully rural countryside did not disappoint. The self-catering accommodation we stayed in was very clean, tidy and spacious with lots of storage space. We had our own cooking facilities with: cooker/hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, adequate cutlery, crockery and other cooking necessities. The large double bed comprised of two singles pushed together which was very comfortable. There was a separate wet-room; shower, hand basin and loo, again with plenty of storage. The breakfasts were superb - I guess typically Swedish with a variety of delicious meats and cheeses, a good selection of bread and rolls, cereals and boiled eggs, fruit, hot water with a variety of tea-bags and lashings of quality coffee. The proprietor was extremely nice and couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly when he provided a bandage for a sprained foot! (Having fallen off the kerb in Copenhagen the day before.) If you like mile upon mile of open arable countryside with big sky's and vistas, then this is the place. This combined with pretty villages, beautiful churches and lovely people made our stay at Hemmesaker B&B most enjoyable and relaxing.
