We stayed for a weekend as we explored some family history. We had the most relaxing experience at Bjartra B&B. Our host was good company and was keen to meet our needs. For a small additional charge Pekke offers a service to patrons to make visits to the nearby High Coast Whisky as easy as possible. He drove us to the distillery on Friday evening, introduced us to the staff and came back to collect us after dinner. We were snowed in a little bit on the Saturday evening so he cooked a wonderful meal for us. Breakfasts were also delightful. The place is a haven of peace and we slept very well. We had the bonus of a local market, which is only held in November. This made our stay even sweeter. Highly recommended.
