Good Morning Karlstad City

Perfect place to stay if you don’t want to spend a fortune on a hotel that you only will sleep in. Nice and clean and great service! Breakfast was good and simple with the necessary. Good coffee! I highly recommend this hotel. 

An excellent choice for a weekend in Karlstad.
Good price for a night in the centre of the city.
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, very good breakfast.
Easy to find parking close to the hotel. Free parking Saturday afternoons and Sunday.


Hotel staff were warm, friendly & helpful at the front desk and breakfast room. Furnishings are minimal yet highly functional and very comfortable. My room was on the top floor with a (narrow) view to the Klarälvan River. It was very quiet and the window let in fresh air which made for a great night's sleep.

Good location, room are clean and breakfast is fine. Quite location, closed to center. 
Parking for the car not so much, but easily you can find other solutions. 
Staff is ok, always ready to support you.


The bed was comfortable and it's quiet there although it's very central. The room was old and small, could have been more cozy and more nice interior design. The TV was really old and small, only 3 channels worked. Breakfast was good except the orange juice which was disgusting.

Simple Straightforward Affordable

The hotel looks lovely and as a place to rest your head it worked, the rooms were a bit snug but again as a place to sleep and wash its good, the problem is that the duvet for 2 people just cover 1 and the mattress was so thin you may as well just sleep on the floor (which on one night I did). The bright side the staff there are lovely and the hotels location was brilliant. I wouldn’t say no to staying there again but honestly it won’t be my first choice.

GOOD MORNING KATLSTAD!

Great location. Parking by the library nearby. Economy style room, but has what you need. Barhroom could need upgrade, but we got a conmortable room. Avoid the scrambled eggs for breakfast - its made of powder. Go for the yoghurt.   Ask for a room high up or towards the inner yard if you dont  want to hear the roams from the Årjeng 
cars during the weekend.

Good location and nice rooms.

Family friendly hotel in central Karlstad. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The room size was good with plenty of storage. Bathroom was clean however the shower could've had a better tray/floor as it was hard not to create a lake. Cleaners came daily and it was dry when we came back in the evenings, with fresh towels and bed made. Breakfast was typically Swedish with kaviar, youghurt, eggs, bacon, bread and fruit. The hotel was undergoing renovations but we barely noticed it as they probably did it during the day.
