We had a great time during our stay at Highcairn Luxury Boutique. It was an amazing place for a weekend get away. The staff was very friendly and the food was too good. The room we were in was super comfortable and classy. We got the chance to grab the sight of sun rise at around 5.45 am and I think after Sripada this is one of the best places to observe the sun rise. Highcairn was a calm and quiet place that gave us the opportunity to enjoy our private time. They had some super cool antique items which enhanced the class of the place.

We had our best holiday for the year when our family stayed 2 nights in this lovely boutique hotel surrounded by number of tourists attractions. Certainly the Highcairn hotel is my cup of tea, for I have greatly enjoyed its collection of antiques including classic cars with sentimental value. The art of the design of Highcairn hotel took me to a different era of time with peace in mind. The very spacious rooms designed to the classic European style are of top quality and clean. We felt very safe to stay at Highcairn hotel in the Covid 19 pandemic. Staff is well aware of the Covid safety rules and practicing the same with its guests which was a great relief. The food is excellent and the chef attended to our very individual choice of dishes. The friendly management of the hotel made us feel at home indeed. Highcairn is an ideal getaway for a quiet, restorative moment away from our busy and stressful life and I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone who is looking forward for a peaceful retreat in Bandarawela.

We had been searching for a luxury boutique hotel which is safe to travel during COVID period. This unique hotel was the perfect match for our requirement.
The classic atmosphere fueled by the color combination and antiques makes the hotel more colonial while giving a soothing feeling.
The hotel staff was friendly and flexible to ensure our stay was memorable. Rooms were spacious enough for the kids to play inside even.
Would recommend this place for anyone who wants to break away from the city and enjoy a nice holiday.

Wonderful place to stay with a breathtaking view. The collection of cars was to die for! Loved the food and the hospitality. Thank you Highcairn for making our stay a relaxing one that was highly enjoyable.

I was there with my chairman(Crown Group of Companies) ,top managers with famillies. The stay was really exciting. Comfatables rooms ,delisious food ,recreational facilities,nice view , friend and helpful staff wont forget the stay at HIGH CAIRN in my life.

I was there  with my chairman Mr. Nilantha  Rajapaksha of Crown Group companies and top Managers with families for two nights. The Location and room view is excellent. comfortable rooms and excellent food with  recreational facilities provided.   Manager and staff was really friendly  and helpful.

Stayed here for 3 nights, and the only bad thing was the weather .. it rained more or less continuously the entire time.

The manager here was incredibly helpful and friendly, he really made us feel welcome, and also took care of organsing tours and transport for us. The rest of the staff were also extremely friendly as well it has to be said.

We had originally been trying to book somewhere in Ella, in the end, glad we stayed here, away from the hoardes of tourists wandering the main drag in Ella. 

Very relaxing place to stay - the setting is beautiful .. nice to sit having breakfast overlooking the hills. A real highlight of our trip.

We went with family and everyone had something to enjoy. From the priceless antiques bringing out the true colonial heritage to the beautifully maintained gardens it was the most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The location, away from the hustle and bustle of the bandarawela town and Ella is a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy your holidays. The hotel is conveniently located to access many of the tourist attractions 
In the area. The place has great ambiance and the collection of antiques add a mystic value to the hotel.

The rooms were exceptional compared to other hotels of repute. Cleanliness of the premises was excellent. The surroundings were pleasant and well maintained. 

The staff made sure we had a great stay, while being very flexible and even organised a tour of the Bee farm  located nearby.

The only downside was the food selection compared to upscale hotels, probably due to covid related issues.
 
With better attention to food I am sure this place can become a great place for anyone's stay at Bandarawela.

We stayed here for two nights, whilst popping into Ella, only a 15-20minute car journey away. 

The owner welcomed us to the holiday bungalows and to the family who ran it. They were all friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The rooms were spacious and clean, they were fairly basic, but great value for money.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
