Excellent house, good price, clean rooms, wonderful owners. It is not my first staing in Sri Lanka, and I am happy to find this area.  It is great. If you want quite place near the main road of unawatuna, near beach, restaurant , you should chose this hotel!

We found praba due to our friends staying here. The kindness that the family showed us even as visitors was quite humbling- helping us with change for a tuktuk when we got dropped off (without us asking) and always greeting us with a smile. They have 2 lovely dogs, do washing and I would really recommend using their tuktuk- competitive rates, a friendly face and a safe driver.

The room was really nice, hot shower, really clean and good mozzie net for a very competitive price. It was also the only place we had consistently good wifi.

Would 100% come back and stay again. Thanks for having us!

We just wish we could have stayed longer here... Lovely clean cool rooms with air con.  Run by lovely friendly family.  Only five minutes walk down to beach, but far enough away from street with all the bars etc, so slept really well.  Comfy big four poster bed.  We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! 

i stayed 20 nights and it was hard for me to move on. nice big beds, clean, hot water, wifi, A/C, terace and the nice family of saman, the owner, next door. 
they help you out every time with anything you need. i got a couple of invitations for dinner and sometimes ended up playing pool with saman. 
i enjoyed my stay very much

Good place in Lanka

Can't review this properly as I never got to stay here, however I booked this property through booking.com only to arrive at 9pm to find no welcome, no 24 hour reception as advertised, just a bunch of men hanging around the place claiming they had no rooms. Took me ages to actually work out if I was at the correct place. Very bizarre. I understand overbooking is something that happens from time to time but there is no excuse for dealing with it so terribly. Ended up being helped out by a neighbouring guest house and we had had a great stay elsewhere. Praba were also in the process of building another house next door as well...lucky escape it seems. Dreadful place. Avoid.
