Bird Scenery

A group of 30 from our family visited this beautiful place on April 2025. Though the property has only 25 bed spaces, they went the extra mile and arranged an extra room for us at Valley69 Hotel, which was a thoughtful touch. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool party at night. It was magical—with BBQ, Calypso music, and an amazing ambiance. Alongside the BBQ, they also served Mongolian rice, Nasi Goreng, and many other delicious dishes. The swimming pool was very clean and well-maintained. The rooms were large, spacious, and the air conditioning worked a bit too well—many of us couldn’t sleep after midnight because it was so cold! The next morning was like something out of a fairy tale—birds singing all around, and even peacocks dancing in the garden. The view of the lake, surrounded by lush paddy fields, was breathtaking. Truly a magical morning. Breakfast was a feast—Red rice, milk rice, string hoppers, local rotti, bread, chicken red curry, fish ambulthiyal, fresh juices, fruit platters, dhal, potatoes, coconut sambol, lunu miris, and more. Everyone had something they loved, and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. Unfortunately, the garden event couldn’t be arranged—likely due to the heavy rain—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
