This was the perfect place to get away from the busyness of life for a few days.

The setting is idyllic.
The standards are high.
The hospitality is on another level.

And then there’s Akila, where everything is a “yes, now what’s the question.”

That's on of the place we've ever been. Amazing view, wonderful hospitality - that's another level of kind and friendliness. Kitchen and food is wonderful. Surrounding area is must see in Sri Lanka. Big highlight of the place is Host - Akila. Amazing guy who organize for you everything what you need.  Highly recommend

The views from the villa are stunning and such a tranquil setting for breakfast on the terrace in sunshine the following morning. 
Cannot fault this villa, immaculate, extremely clean including outside areas and a pleasure to spend time in.
It was Akila that pulled it all together, he is incredible, a font of knowledge and information,  attention to detail was amazing and nothing was too much trouble.  He really is the star of the show.

We stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. The views, room and activities were incredible but what made it an unforgettable experience was the hospitality of the hotel manager, Akila. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time. He made delicious food, kept everything clean and tidy, made sure we had activities to do and made sure we had a cup of tea whenever we wanted one! I would highly recommended staying here and would love to come again one day. Thank you again to Akila and the team for the wonderful job you do!

The location and quality of this villa is truly exceptional. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the food was superbly cooked. Akila is an amazing host who caters to your every need with a smile, nothing is too much trouble dim. He ensures your stay is super special. We wished we had stayed longer as there is so much to do in the surrounding area. I cannot rate this place highly enough and I hope one day to return and stay longer. The service is truly exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for two nights with my family and parents. The location is great, and the views are breath taking. Weather here is cool and mild, Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. We booked only two rooms, but the host stopped taking other bookings and made the whole bungalow available exclusively for us which was an unexpected but a most generous gesture. I wanted to experience a typical tea estate bungalow luxury, and they offered me exactly that. Akila, the manager at the bungalow is a super star who was always available and accommodated all our requests. He went to great lengths to serve us. We felt really welcome and at home. The food is tasty, but some items are a bit pricey. The bungalow has many little lounging areas, pool table, carrom, swimming pool among other amenities. I will be visiting again and will highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the city and just relax in peace.

We enjoyed our stay at Floating Mountain Villa. A peaceful and intimate accommodation, the villa sits atop a hill with beautiful views and serene surroundings. The staff are amazing, very attentive and friendly. The meals were also delicious, authentic Sri Lankan dishes and high-tea spread! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property really lives up to its name… with almost a picture perfect views of the mountains and hills… it really does feel like your floating on a mountain… the rooms a flower themed and even scented according to the respective flower. They’ve got plenty of activities at the villa to keep yourself entertained, including and not limited to your very own pool table. The interior decor and furniture consists of very high end s d classy pieces, my personal favorite was the majestic chandelier.

Our stay in the floating mountain villa was fabulous, unfortunately it was short and we wish we could extend more days but we had to leave.
Mr. Akila who was in touch with us direct after making our booking to check our dietary requirements and if we have any allergies, he was so helpful before reaching the villa, during the stay and after we left also. He’s absolutely amazing and professional he made us feel so special. 
I would give 10/10 for the excellent service, the cleanliness, the breathtaking view, Everything was just amazing without any exception. 
A big thank you to Mr. Gowri who was checking on us to make sure that everything is alright and also thank you the chef for making delicious food especially the omelette in the breakfast it was so tasty.
