The accommodations we wanted were fully booked so we took this recommended by our driver. We got the family room, one bed was very good, the other was OK, fine for our son. There is a hot shower that was very good, but don't forget to turn on the boiler, ours was switched off when we arrived. Breakfast was included and very nice! It is close to Victoria Park and city centre. We had dinner at Grand Indian which was very good,  also the pizza place Samoya? is excellent!

Our driver recommended 

"Booking was confirmed, still they rented to another party FOR A HIGHER PRICE!!"

We had called the owners and checked if the 'villa' was available for our booking dates (2 -nights, 3 - days on a long weekend), and when they had confirmed that the place was free, we went ahead with paying the due 'advance payment' 2 weeks prior to our visit in order to confirm our booking as it was requested by the management of this place.
But when we arrived to the location on the dates we had booked for our stay, there was another vehicle full of visitors on the same property.
The management insisted that 'we' HAD NOT PAYED any advance payments to confirm our staying so they had just given the rooms to another party.
THE MANAGEMENT NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO CONTACT US BEFORE GIVING THE ROOMS/PLACE TO THE OTHER PARTY!
and we had to prove them to be lying by showing our receipt of payment. Which then they tried to cover-up saying they had not checked their emails and such excuses!
Apparently The management had rented the rooms to the other party for a HIGHER PRICE than they had requested from us!! (The broker who showed the way for this location to the 2nd party which will be staying here instead of us, confirmed this once we were off the property and looking for other places to stay)

The management didn't bother to answer the phones after our initial confrontation and had turned the phones off later. After about 30 mints or so, another person representing the management contacted us and apologized saying that THEY HAD RECIEVED OUR ADVANCE PAYMENT and by mistake that they had given the property to the second party! and also that they will provide a solution for us.
But after that, no body from the management or any representatives contacted us for anything and we were left alone to find a new place to stay!

It is hard to find a single place with such a number of rooms we wanted, in Nuwara Eliya during the long weekend vacations!

Never in my life we'll be going back to, or recommend such an awful place with an even more unethical management!

Booking was confirmed, still they rented to another party for a higher price!!

We wanted to book a place in Nuwara Eliya which had about 8 rooms. After checking we found this place and we called the given number. The person who answered didn't provide a lot of specifics. but said the place was good and that the chef can cook really well and we can take provisions and that the chef will cook for us. He did not give us the number of the cook/manager until the day we went to Nuwara Eliya. 

To summarize this place is utterly dirty, not maintained, all facilities that are supposed to be there are not and is disgusting. 
we were hoping to stay 2 nights so we made an advance payment of half of the full amount.

1) We found out that the person whom we spoke to was actually a broker who makes the deal and he doesn't provide specifics nor gives the managers number so as to avoid providing information about the place.

2) The place was very dirty. the floors were not swept and the rooms had stains and patches of fungus. The beds had animal droppings and the blankets were moldy.

3)The geezer was not working in most of the rooms. The bathrooms were also dirty and slimy. None of the bathroom doors had locks.

4)there were 2 TVs and only 1 had cable TV, but that was not working. No DVD player.A pool table was available without cues.

5)None of the bathrooms even had a tiny bar of soap and the dining room sink was dirty and there was no hand wash/soap.

6)the first night we wanted to have a BBQ and gave the meat to the cook. They were late to start and  we found out that the meat was undercooked and some burnt. They did not initially want us to get involved saying they knew what they were doing but then one of us had to go and make sure he cooked the meat properly. Then we found that the chef was actually a driver, and that it was the first time he was doing a BBQ.!!

7) Next day early morning we told the concerns to maanger who didnt take much notice and said that the cook was very experienced and had been cooking for a long time whereas the 'cook' told us he was a driver, So the caretaker was lying

8) the food they made in the morning lacked salt/ flavor / taste and we had to intervene there cooing and make sure it was edible.

9)there were 2 fridges out of which only the smaller one was working and we opened it to keep some food. And there were cockroaches and dead insects in the fridge!! and we could see the freezer was not working because we didn't feel the cold coming out.

10) They did not mention the fridge was not working, therefore all the meat we brought about was spoilt.!! 
The manager then told us that the meat was spoilt when we brought, and it was not. We brought the meat on the way to Nuwara Eliya and it was fresh and obviously not spoilt. But the manager did not want to admit that it was his fault and kept denying every thing.
We had infants and children in our group and obviously did not want to stay one more second in that place.
So we found another place and left . We had already paid half of the full amount so we did not owe them any money. But then they got mad and started shouting and threatened to  tell the police. We told them to go ahead because we had all the  proof of the dirty and disgusting place that they call a 'resort'.

Needless to stay, this is a place that should be AVOIDED at any cost, Its dirty, the  manager  and broker lie, the cook is actually a driver who cant cook, the fridge, TV, hot water etc are not working, And the place is old and needs to be refurbished.
We had the most unpleasant time, and would never ever recommend this place to any one.

Horrible place

This is not  the best place to be staying at all. We stayed here during the last weekend with family. There is a very friendly cook (Kumar) who wants to help with all his heart, however, cannot because the supervisor/care taker does not allow him to do so (I overheard a conversation which took place). 
They offer to cook for you but the food is not the best taste. The caretaker kept on offing the geezer therefore we did not have hot water most of the time. 
This place is not completely done. There is much renovation needed. Blankets outdated and beds very uncomfortable.
Wifi was the only advantage.
I will never stay in this place nor recommend it to someone else.

Can never recommend

Initially the owner behaved nicely, offering us 2 double rooms instead of a triple room for the same price. 
The rooms were damp and moldy.
After reading that some places are cold and do not provide for heaters or charge them extra, I had the owner confirmed before booking. When we were there, he tried to charge extra. Only after showing the email he agreed to the price agreed on before.
As we really did not like the place, we left one night earlier. Still, we had to pay more than half of the price for the second night, even if it was low seasons and there were no other customers, so obviously he did not send others away due to our booking.
I would never go back to this place!

We (My family and our friends family) went there after paying half of the payment to spend three days in Nuwara Eliya. But rooms were damp. Bathrooms were giving damp smell. We even did not stay at least one night. 
This is one place to avoid.
