Staying for 2 weeks for a medical experience. I can honestly say that the service, food and all staff have been absolutely amazing. Friendly and very helpful. Even if you are young, old, travelling in a group or alone you will always have something to do. They organise everything for you if you want to participate but it is ok if you don't want to they can help you go explore on your own by arranging transport.
We have just been away for the cultural triangle weekend and it was such an amazing once in a lifetime experience for me, Karu and the driver (Apologies I forget his name) went above and beyond and nothing was a problem. We really enjoyed our weekend. You've helped create beautiful memories and for this I am very grateful.

Travelled for 9 days with Karu and it was excellent. He had all of the best ideas and tips to make it the most amazing time we could have possibly had, including the best times to go and see the elephants on the safari! Nothing was an issue for him and he constantly made sure everyone was okay and didn’t need anything else. Highly recommend! An experience I will love and look back on for the rest of my life! Thank you Karu!! 🐘 

The 9 day travel experience with Karu meant that I was able to see so much of Sri Lanka in so little time. The accommodations we stayed in were much better than expected and the amount/quality of food was great. It was very relaxing to know that everything was taken care of and organised by Karu. He always made sure the whole group was happy and put a lot of effort into the trip.

The accommodation at Karu’s guest house is great and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful with any issues or queries you have. I also went on Karu’s tour of Sri Lanka which was so special and we all made so amazing memories! We got to see so much in such a short space of time thanks to Karu’s organisation. All of the hotels and meals he planned for us along the way were also amazing! Shantha the driver was great at getting us around so many places and was always so accommodating with us wanting to stop off at supermarkets etc along the way.

Homely accommodation. The rooms are cleaned weekly. If you have any issues with your room the staff are always available to help. Karu and his family are incredibly friendly and make you feel more than welcome. The staff are incredibly kind and insightful, as well as always being willing to help. Beautiful location with two towns just 10 mins away. Would recommend! 

Karu Guest House is very nice place to stay in just next to the beach. I could enjoy the new room, very clean and tidy. Thanks to the air conditioning it was easy to share it with other people that were involved in the same programme. 
It was really good experience to be involved in turtle restoration project and to teach local kids. All meals were included and most of them were unique Sri Lankan cuisine. 
Personnel is very nice and friendly and would help you to find yourself in new surroundings as well as show you most interesting spots in the area. 
After volunteering I went for 9 days travel. You don’t need to worry about anything as everything is organised by Karu. Transport, hotels and meals. You just relax and enjoy. 
Karu put a lot of effort to show us as much as possible during this limited time so be sure you will not get bored. Busy days filled with plenty of attractions.
I was surprised how many things you can do in such a short time: national parks safaris, interaction with elephants, visiting temples, festivals, hiking, spa and massages, best shopping spots of Sri Lankan goodness, train trip, national dance performance, waterfalls and in general a lot of time in nature.
The accommodation during the tour was good and you often had a chance to enjoy the swim in the hotel swimming pool.
If you had any troubles and requirements you can be sure that they will be addressed with a good care.

Our family of four is just home from 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. A particular highlight was the Cultural Triangle trip with Karu - especially visiting the Happy Elephant project which included caring for an elephant and a meal at a local family's house. The trip was thoughtfully tailored to our needs and worked for both adults and children. Thanks Karu!

We’ve spent a month now in Sri Lanka, 9 days of which travelling with Karu to the most beautiful spots and attractions and the rest spent staying in Karu’s guest house. Karu and his family couldn’t do enough for us, always making sure we had what we needed. Karu made our 9 day trip, little gestures like giving us flowers in the morning and paying extra for a better room. I do believe we wouldn’t have had such a good trip had it not have been for the hosts.

The best Sri Lankan experience!

Excellent tour guide. Karu took me and a group of 9 others on a 10 day trip around Sri Lanka as well as accommodating me in his guest house for the rest of the month of June. Most amazing host. Great dialogue and very humorous. He made sure we all were satisfied with the trip. Great accommodation with AC. Encouraged us to try some delicious local cuisine and got to know his lovely family. Tuck tucks were always available at our disposal and he arranged for us to have accommodation and transport anywhere we wanted to visit.
