The host was amazing and helpful. Always ready with juice and milkshakes. His English was also amazing. The rooms were a bit emotionless but that didn't matter. The rooftop views were amazing. The location isn't perfect as it is quite rural.

Blue Ribbon is one of the loveliest and most welcoming places I've been to. It's not too far away from the main town and is set in quite a quiet, peaceful area. 
When we arrived, we were immediately offered lunch which was absolutely delicious, and the dinners that we ate there each evening were the best we've had so far on our trip. 
The room was spacious, clean and obviously well cared for. There is a roof terrace which has a good view and plenty of space. Our host, Soua was absolutely brilliant. She organised a tour for us and helped us find somewhere to stay for the next part of our trip. Would really recommend Blue Ribbon...our only gripe was the slight shock at the expense of the food when we checked out. Other than that, you are on to a good'un! :)

We were absolutely enchanted by the beautiful guesthouse and it's surroundings, perched on the top of a hill surrounded by jungle and a beautiful river just beneath , I can tell you this place really has the most extraordinary views , as well as not being in Kandy s center but only minutes away in a quiet secluded neighborhood .

The host Souha is welcoming and very professional she will assist you with anything you might need and all that with the most beautiful smile .

She has a chauffeur and van they can drive you around the island and she can organize various expeditions and sightseeing sites 

The vibes in the house are so relaxed I can't think of a better place to stay in Kandy.

Souha is also an amazing chef and her sambol is the best in Sri Lanka by far ! All the food is freshly prepared with love and is just so delicious . 

There are two boys working that are very sweet . 
The suite is beautiful the rooms are all big , beautiful bed linen in all the rooms , and the suite has a private terrace which is really nice if you want to have a romantic breakfast or dinner in the privacy of your room . 
There is also a rooftop which had spectacular views and if you have a group of people I guess you could have dinner on the roof as well , we mostly did yoga there with the sunset . 

I highly recommend this place as it had all the advantages , secluded , beautiful , clean , great food and am amazing host !!!!!

We stayed here on two different occasions and felt very warmly welcome! We got lots of help from the hosts whenever it was needed and the food was excellent. I can definitely recommend Blue Ribbon if you are planning on exploring Kandy.

We can’t imagine a better place to stay in the Kandy's region. The location and our accommodations were wonderful. The village of Pinnawela & Peradaniya and its surrounds are peaceful and beautiful. Those things by themselves would have made us content. But the hospitality of our host, Soua , her passion for her country and enthusiasm for sharing it with their guests, and her personal attention to so many small details made our stay one we’ll not soon forget. The frosting on the cake was each day’s delicious breakfast as well as the exceptional and abundant dinners prepared to perfection with ingredients from local markets. Were it possible, we’d go back in a heartbeat.
