97 reviewsWe wanted to feel how it is to stay in a ryokan and fortunately, we found Miyabiyado Takemine being recommended when we did a Google search. The great thing is that there is a 50sqm room category that provides a semi open-air bath (onsen) with no view (for privacy) AND a separate huge, deep bathtub all at once. We had that room and omg, it's amazing. My 4yo daughter and I soaked ourselves in the open-air bath while my husband got all the bathtub to himself. The whole atmosphere from right outside the ryokan, to the lobby and to your room feels so so peacefully Japanese. Great place to unwind after touring the city. Staff were polite and very helpful. As we are Muslims, they were very thoughtful about our meals which we respect them for it. If you have any dietary restrictions, please do not ever hesitate to contact them as they will reply you so promptly to provide assistance. My email correspondences were replied by a Mr. Yoshi, who assisted me all along. On the 2nd floor is a Relaxation room, where there were 2 massage chairs, a library, seating area, Nespresso and juices to help you to wind down. It's amazing. We had an amazing, amazing time at this ryokan!
