74 reviewsWow what a wonderful place, the staff could not do enough for us and the outlook into the jungle and paddy fields is stunning. The rooms are immaculate, and the food was fantastic. We arrived 15th March 2020 just as Sri Lanka were to have their first few cases of coronavirus. We had been at Vesma Villas for 3 days and then had a visit from the Health department who explained to us that we could not leave the area due to the spread of coronavirus, the following day the curfew was announced. Unfortunately, we were advised by the management that we should consider cutting our holiday short, which we did and left the hotel 5 days earlier than anticipated. We cannot thank all the staff enough for looking after us while we were under curfew and going shopping for us, while we could not leave the hotel, and for also organising our taxi back to the airport with all the necessary paperwork to travel on the roads. We were very sad to leave and hope all the staff are safe and well. We will be returning once this pandemic is over and will be re-booking with you. Stay Safe.
