Avon Hikkaduwa Guest House

This was the perfect guesthouse in Hikkaduwa for travellers on a budget. Our room was air-conditioned (which was really nice given the heat), the shower was good, we also had a fridge which was very handy and the hosts were very lovely and helpful. Location wise it's great. From the main part of town where most of the restaurants are, it's about a 5 to 10 minute walk. From the beach, it's a 2 minute walk and that area of the beach is very quiet. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Should note, it's based on the main road between Galle and Colombo, so a bit of passing traffic. However, most places are located on this road, so hard to avoid. I'd definitely stay here again!
