The Bend

My husband and I stayed at The Bend for two nights, great place. Spotless. The Room was a bit small but right in the  centre of town and I had a balcony.  It was really enjoyable, the manager was superb, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very nice too. I definitely recommend it. Luisa

One of the great and best place to spend vacation.. spotted place is perfect exactly in the middle of the galle fort. Very beautiful views clean rooms, very good breakfast.friendly staff and management.. always helpful very calm pleace to relax. All the best restaurants just surrounded by this beautiful amazing place.. we did not felt that we are somewhere outside from home.. this is the best feeling we had.. I highly recommend this The bend geust house for anyone who comes to galle Sri Lanka.. definitely you will be satisfied 100%. I am planning to come back my next vacation also to this place.. 

Stayed in the double room at level 2.  This place is located right at the junction of two very touristy roads with plenty of food options and shops.  It is easily accessible to walk to Galle Fort and Galle Lighthouse.  The room is very comfortable, clean and I really love how the bathroom/toilet layout.  I was served a sumptious local breakfast at my balcony looking out to the street. Will strongly recomend to stay here if visiting Galle.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip - the owners are so welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast which we ate on our balcony overlooking the lovely streets. If you are looking for good quality mid range it's great value for money. Location is brilliant - check out the lebanese restaurant next door! They also arranged transfer for us and made our stay brilliant

After a friendly welcome, we were shown into our room and settled into the most stylish room of our trip. Though not spacious, it was very comfortable for us. The man in attendance was very friendly and accommodating, making us tea and finding us beer when we wanted, made us a nice hot breakfast. The balcony in our room was a perfect place to sit and enjoy a champagne to celebrate the last night of our SriLanka trip.

The B&B is located in the heart of the Galle Fort and walking distance to any point in the Fort.  The room has a lovely four poster bed, A/C and ensuite toilet.  The cleanliness of the room and toilet is exceptional. The Eastern or Western breakfast includes plenty of fresh fruit and excellent fresh juices which was served on our balcony. Plenty of restaurants around the area for dinner.  Subash, the owner is a very amiable person and has a "never say No" attitude which makes the stay there so very comfortable.

The Bend is very centrally located within Galle Fort, minutes from the Dutch Hospital, the Ramparts and a walk out to Galle town. It's right across from Barefoot & Fort Printers, so it's easily located too.

The guest house has three ensuite rooms with individual balconies overlooking the street. Breakfast is included, was delicious and very generous (morning tea/coffee, a plate of very good quality fruit, and choice of local/Western breakfast with a glass of fresh juice), served in our own balcony or at the dining table in the common living room. Subash is very obliging and helpful with whatever you ask (I needed a multiplug, lead extension,  ironing, transport etc. and he always helped out with a smile however busy he was).

The place is very safe, and though the room could be warm during the day, the AC & fan is very good, and will keep you cool. The toilets are high spec, very clean and with glass encasement and shower curtain for privacy, so you need to be comfortable with that.

All in all a great little place, and highly recommended!

This is a three bedroom house on the first floor with a small common area. Location is the corner of Church St and Peddler St. It is inside the fort so there is much to see, short drive for other activities, still fishing and a local tea plantation. 
Nice views from the balcony. We stayed for two nights and would recommend it. 
The breakfast is nice with fruit followed by English or local food that is home made by the owners wife.
Good local restaurants with fresh fish. Short walk to the Galle cricket ground, local fishing village and shopping area.
The rooms are well kitted out. There is one staff on site available 24/7, this works well with three rooms.
