We stayed two nights in the cabana. Very peaceful area. Comfy beds. Nice tea garden view and spice garden. You can see animals in the garden. Fruits can be eaten.owner is very nice.
Highly recommended the cabana if you need much relaxation and long stay.
Free wifi and hot water. Two minutes walk to Ella Railway station and town.

We would defenitly come back. Thanks for everything

Nice view and relaxing in the cabana

I stayed one night in the Cabana. Most relaxing place with a lovely spice garden. Birds view and you can see deers moving in the garden.
Comfy beds. Two minutes walk to Ella city and Railway.
Nice Tea garden view is possible.
Cool climes with superb stay.
Highly recommend to anyone.

Lovely Cabana to stay with cool nature

We stayed at the Ella Tunnel Corner Inn for 4 nights and loved every second. The couple that run the property are so kind and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. From the complimentary tea and chocolate cake on arrival to breakfast before departure, everything was great. 
The location is very central for the shops/restaurants and Ella Train Station. 
What really sets this place apart is the speed of the WiFi. We have been travelling around Sri Lanka for nearly a month and never had as good as connection as we had here. 
Thank you for an incredible stay - we hope to return!

Great stay

This is the one of the best places to spent your nights.Awesome place .They provided delicious food at our request. Most important is , they never disturbed us during our stay.Owner is very helpful and friendly. Calm and quite place.

Freedom is everything

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, really worth the cheap price.
The owners of the hostel are very kind and helpful, they helped me with anything i needed from tuktuk drivers to carrying my surfboards to the train 
 station and showing me where to buy .tickets
The place is located 100M from the busy  part of the street so its quiet
But still close to restaurants and shops.
I really recommend staying in this place. 😁😁😁

Amazing hostel 😁

My partner and I had a wicked stay here and were a little sad to leave. We felt really comfortable and free here! You can hire out a scooter, cruise round Ella and surrounding area’s which is and are all... Gorgeous!! The breakfast is monumental! My favourite part is the banana pancake which is as thick as a book. So good! Beds are comfy, mosquito nets included ofc! Nice rooms, bathroom and a nice little seating area. The restaurant across the road is great! So cheap, tasty and so close. Could of stayed for longer but ofc we all have places to go and people to meet!

For the price you pay Ella Tunnel Corner Inn is completely worth it. It’s ran by Weera Koon who is a great host. Always available to help drawing maps, organising bike rentals and more. Top location, top hotel! 

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay so much because of the owner! He was so carrying and helped us a lot with getting to the uduwalawe Nationalpark. We got there by bus because we wanted to keep it as cheep as possible. They were all the time ready to help in any way. Thanks a lot! 

The owner is so nice! 

This place has a good location and easy to find. The owner welcome us with a cup of Sri Lankan coffee and sweets! Rooms are small and toilets clean but with lack of water pressure. Wi-Fi is good. We were two travelers and I guess the rooms are suitable for 1 person. 

Tiny rooms 

We visited Ella a couple of weeks ago. We had three rooms, my room you had to put your hand out the window to open your door to get out, excuse was the door handle fell off last night. When we arrived at the Inn we were very disappointed, very old, not very clean, cats sitting on chair, we were only there for two nights so decided to stay as it was raining very heavily, owner was helpful, we locked our rooms and went out for the full day, when we returned someone had been in the rooms ???. Breakfast was cheap and ok. The only good aspect of this accomodation was the wifi and the location, otherwise I would say give it a miss.
