Our summer holiday season is not complete without our annual stay at the Gran Melia de Mar. The setting remains for us, one of the most breathtaking on the island. The hotel has recently been beautifully refurbished which has further enhanced its already sophisticated and glamorous ambiance. The food, although always good, has also improved year on year in quality and selection with this year being its finest to date, at breakfast and lunch (we did not dine at the hotel this year). For us though, it is the care and warmth from the whole team which brings us back each year. Every single member, from the welcome at reception team when we check in and throughout our stay, to the housekeeping team to the waiters and waitresses, pool team, concierge and management are all relentlessly charming and cannot do enough to help. Certain members of the team are particularly special such as Raphael from Bon Bon, but most of all, it is our dear friend Ramon who ensures our stay is perfect, and we look forward to seeing at every visit. Having only just left, we already look forward to returning to our happy place in the beautiful Mallorca sunshine. Thank you for another exquisite stay.
