MarSenses Rosa del Mar Hotel & Spa

We visited Marsenses Rosa del Mar mid August 2025 and after visiting Marsenses hotels previously, in Cala d’or and Menorca we all agree that this is definitely our favourite. Not to downplay the other hotels, my son is a little older and so the entertainment at Rosa del Mar was perfect for his current age (4). The rooms were pristine and modern, with maids visiting every other day and doing a fantastic job. The hanging space was more generous than other Marsenses hotels we have visited, the one thing we still missed was having a drawer for our smaller clothing items/underwear etc. The little kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed and was clean and well presented. The pool areas were well kept, with Sensiland providing smaller slides and a splash park for the tots and bigger slides for the older children. My boy enjoyed going down all the slides of varying sizes while we were there, building his confidence up on the bigger ones was easier here than in the other 2 Marsenses hotels as the pool was slightly shallower, meaning he could stand up on his own. The main pool area offered a children’s pool, a deep pool and the main pool. There were never any issues with finding loungers around either of the pool areas and the loungers themselves were clean and comfortable. The snack bar in Sensiland was good for child friendly food or something quick and the snack bar around the main pool area offered a heartier menu. Both nice, but the smash burgers we had at the main snack bar was fab. The main restaurant for breakfast and evening meals provided a variety of tasty foods, with a different theme every night alongside some staples that stayed the same, (handy for when you have a picky and stubborn 4 year old). They had a buffet counter set to a lower height with plastic plates so the little ones could choose their own food which was also a really nice touch. We never struggled to find something we liked and would often go up more than once for seconds or to try something new, Non of us ever tried anything we didn’t like. The beach was nice and close, about a 5 minute walk, and the attractions in Magaluf were at most a 7 min taxi ride away. The entertainment at Rosa del Mar was well organised and well timed. The white party and Flower power parties made a nice change and broke up the week nicely. One improvement that could be made is the wires to the inflatables could be taped down as I tripped at the flower party and it could have ended badly had i not caught myself, so watch out for these. The foam party was a highlight for us, it was on for a decent amount of time, the music wasn’t too loud and the mocktail being served was delicious. The spa allowed children between 10-12 so it was a little chaotic between these times but it was really nice to be able to take my boy in with me, just time your visit for after 12 if you’re wanting pure relaxation. The staff were all brilliant and absolutely made this hotel, they all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and it really had a positive effect on the vibe of the place. We did have some intermittent issues with the air con in the lounge area and there was a smell that came from the drains a couple of times, but these issues were quickly seen to by the maintenance team and so it did not really impact our holiday at all. All in all, we had a fabulous time, despite some slight tweaks being needed, there was nothing that could have ruined it for us, we will definitely be returning. We were already impressed with the previous Marsenses hotels we have visited which is why we have stuck with the chain for the third holiday in a row, but Rosa del Mar was a cut above.
