Very good
3901 reviewsWe have just returned from our stay here at this lovely hotel. We were so worried with the recent bad reviews and can honestly say we were getting very anxious. However, there was absolutely nothing to worry about! Rooms: We stayed in 333 which is a twin room (4 are friends that stayed for the Mad Cool Festival). It was really big, very modern and clean. It was a little noisy, however, it is a city, a very busy one for that so noise is expected. The bathroom was fab with a powerful shower which had 2 options of a lower shower head and one attached to the ceiling (cant think of the name of them). Fresh towels and replenished toilet roll daily. Pool: The pool is lovely, cold, but lovely. It has a retractable roof which was closed halfway due to the heat. This was definitely needed when the temp was tipping 40° degrees daily. If you dont have towels you have hire towels for €3 per week. It closes at 7pm which is a great time, however, you can still use the rooftop terrace. Rooftop Terrace: Oh My... it was amazing!! We used it daily to sunbathe and just look out of the city. Food and Drinks: Unfortunately I cant comment on the food as we didnt eat there, however, we did see other customers eating and the food looked nice. Cocktails are beautiful, around €14 but they are huge!! Beer €6 and soft drinks €6. Staff: Staff are lovely. We had no issues whatsoever with their service or no language barrier (we are from the uk). Location: Absolutely fantastic location. Across the road there is a Dia shop where you can purchase everything needed. We used it often to buy things to make baguettes, beers for room, juices, munch etc. Not expensive at all so was surprised being where it is. Turn right out of the hotel and there are all your favourite fast foods, I.e. Mcds, Burger King, KGF. Left, there is a Popeyes, Tim Hortons. Opposite in a lovely little place called Oskars we used daily for a delicious Radler Limon (if you've never tried this its a must). 100s of shops, little boutiques, souvenir shops, bars, restaurants. There are numerous metros also surrounding this area so it makes it easy to get anywhere. One day we turned right, walked around 10/15 mins and was right by the palace. All in all... we had a fantastic time. The hotel was beautiful and fab location. We will be back next July!!
