100 reviewsWe booked this site as it was the only one open on this stretch of coastline and close to our friends, whom we were meeting up with. I booked without reading reviews but when I did have a read of them, I was horrified! I thought, omg what have we done! We travelled from the UK through France into Spain with our caravan, so our choices were limited and no way of finding anything else nearby. So, we decided to bite the bullet and check in. We were given a huge pitch at the back of the site (97) with a Sandy floor and trees for shade, which we were really pleased with. We were close to the loos and showers, maybe a bit too close for our liking, but actually, we weren’t facing them and couldn’t see them from where we sat. First time I went in to shower, was dreading the freezing cold water everyone had mentioned, but it was hot! You do have to run water for a good while but it does get hot. Facilities were very clean, dated, but I can live with that. The site is surrounded by apartments which at first felt a bit weird but again, I didn’t even think about it after a day and it certainly didn’t spoil our stay. We had friends come over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, no problem with them entering the site and staying all day. We were pretty quiet though, as this site is actually very peaceful. The age of people mainly middle age upwards. No families but it’s not geared up for kids. Dogs are welcome. Yes majority of pitches are tarmac and extremely close together, but no one seemed to mind and most people are very friendly. We still have 3 nights to go having spent 6 already. I would come back here if I came this way again.
