Fantastic
40 reviewsI stayed with my elderly mother, so had one of the lower level apartments. The view was amazing. We had our own little garden to sit out and enjoy the views from. There were only 2 small steps on the way in the front door and there were two bigger steps to get down from the seating area to the grass part of the garden. Other than that it was very suitable for an elderly person not so sure on their feet. The Apartment we had was "El Palmar- Villa 409B". Antonia, who looked after us at the Villas, was brilliant, She has great English and was so helpful and kind. The beds in the Villa were very comfortable, as was the couch. It's best to drive or get a taxi to Conil for restaurants. It's a lovely town with lots of nice shops and places to eat. We went to the Hotel Flamenco which is close by, one evening to eat, and I think it was overpriced. We would have been better off going to the town. There is a fabulous walk just up the road from the apartments, near the cliff tops, that looks back down the coast to the apartments and Conil further along. Well worth going even just for the viewing point. Lots of places to buy groceries in Conil. The basics were in the apartment- there were 2 x dish washer tabs; a couple of bin bags; a couple of rolls of toilet paper; a cloth. I would bring a dish towel or something to dry hands. There are bath and hand towels supplied. The apartment was cleaned once while we were there over the 5 days, which was fine. Smart TV in our apartment with Netflix, etc. I must add that our apartment had just been done up, so it may be better than others, not yet renovated. I would confirm things like a smart TV being in an apartment. There is a lovely beach which you can walk to, but there are a lot of steps down to it. Very quiet beach there. You can drive to Conil and park for free along by the beach there is the steps are an issue at the apartments.
