Stayed here in March had a great stay our room was on the first floor with a small balcony and its own bathroom which we asked for as I don't think all rooms are on suite you could have your breakfast at any time as the bar was open to the public there was a roof terrace which had a bar we only spent about half hour up here as we were meeting friends but was great the only down side was going up to it if you like staying in the old town then this is a great place to stay with great staff room clean and food was good will stay here again

Great Place 

Booked a few nights a while ago at the Babylon...place is in desperate need of a refurb ! it's looking very tired and scruffy, lot's of dangerous wiring around, beds are prison standard issue, oh and woke up early to hear many grunts and groans and banging headboards..lol ..oh and had a weird experience in the shower !!! I placed my towel over a high wall in the shower cubicle and as I pulled my towel down to dry myself literally hundreds of small 'cent' coins came cascading down on me  !!! What was that all about.???? If you enjoying roughing it then it's ok, if you prefer nice décor and comfort give it a miss.

Great if you like to hear people 'going at' it at 4am in the morning !

I am not going to go into war and peace about this place but will give you a few pointers in bullet form

- The room was damp and my clothes ended up that way too
- There was mildew on the walls
- The paint on the wall was so thick, it became water damaged and fell off onto the      
   floor causing sharp fragments
- There was water staining on the ceiling from from the room above
- There was no light in the bathroom that worked
- The rooftop terrace was shut despite its website saying it was open to 12 in the 
   winter. 
- The bar shut at 7 pm (or before) despite saying it was open til late
- The hotel WiFi was supposed to be hotel wide, but the router on the 2nd floor i was - staying on had been stolen so no WiFi
- The corners of the furniture in our room (202) looked as though it had been - 
   chewed by mice
- The lock on our door had been forced at sometime previously, so the lock hasp was    
   only located in gouged out wood
- The shower was not big enough to bend over in (nothing smutty please)
- The roof fan shook so vigorously i feared it would fall off. Someone had complained -  before as there were beer mats, etc. under the rose to prevent shaking.
- There were no fire doors to the stairs making it a death trap.
- Emergency lighting was not charged. Don't ask me how I know, just accept I do!!
- After 7 pm, one way out meaning should a fire break out we would be in serious -
  trouble
- The safe was broken
- When we complained about cold water in the shower, we were told to shower earlier
- We had people singing at the top of their voice until 5 am. When we complained we were told, well it is New Year

The list is endless. Love Benidorm but hated this dump

Please avoid

Hotel was filthy, cockroaches on the floor. First room offered had no light and was dirty and we were told this was an upgrade as rooms didn't come standard with their own bathroom!!
Moved to another room, dirty lumpy bed, broken furniture, broken shower tray, broken shower, broken safe, drawer chest had drawers missing and wires hanging out the wall from the light fittings

This hotel is way below standard and should not be trading

I had to check out and go elsewhere

The owners should hang their heads in shame. The pictures offered to advertise the hotel are years old and do not reflect its current shoddy state

My partner and I, booked this place having visited the roof top bar the previous year. It's a great location for the gay bars, so thought we'd give it a go. Wish I read the reviews!!

We're not hotel snobs and don't mind slumming it, but this place is the pits.

We had room 102 at the front of the hotel. Room was very small and dark and overlooked by the hotel across the street (no privacy whatsoever). The bed was very uncomfortable and it felt like it would fall apart everytime we moved.

The bathroom was just awful, you had to hold the shower head while having a shower, the cubicle was very small with the door missing, in its place was a curtain whuch didn't stop the water from escaping, so when you had your shower from hell, you had to walk across the wet floor! Even the cockroaches were having to swim!!

Needless to say, we only spent the night here and booked somewhere else. PLEASE listen to these reviews.
