I have booked many one-night stays near the city center of Barcelona during the past few years, and this hotel was by far my favorite. My spacious room had a beautiful 'sunroom' with lots of windows, in addition to the sleeping area and bathroom. This hotel offers many small comforts and conveniences: I really appreciated having a desk and a mini-fridge, and the bed was comfortable. Good shower with hot water. The hotel has a common area with an electric teakettle and microwave, which is also much appreciated and made for a more comfortable and convenient stay. It was very nice to have a self-service laundromat a half-block away so that I could do my laundry before packing my suitcase for my flight home to the United States.The distance from Plaza Catalunya (and the airport bus) is a bit farther than other comparably priced hotels in the area, but I think the size and quality of the rooms more than makes up for the extra walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
