Fantastic
2 reviewsStayed in a single room. Room is spacious enough for me, although I had to fold the mattress first, in order to pack my luggage. Pros: 1) Room is clean and so is the bathroom. 2) Located just outside the Hanok Village. Away from the crowd, but still within reach. 3) Owner/Helper is helpful. Although can't really speak English, she tried to help when the hot water was not running in the bathroom. Apparently need to adjust the control's setting, which is located in the room (I had meddled with the setting as the flooring was a bit too warm for me). 4) There is a bus stop about 5 mins walk from the property. There are buses to the bus and train stations from there (turn left from the main gate, then turn right at the end. Walk straight and you'll see the bus stop). However, be prepared to use Google map to check the bus numbers and which bus stop to get off. Cons: 1) Soundproofing need to be improved. I can practically hear the conversation of people hanging outside my room. 2) Would be good if there are English instructions on how to use the temperature control (for floor heating and shower) Overall, it was a good stay for me. However, be aware that the main road at the hanok village is closed on Sunday. I took a cab from the bus station, and he dropped me at the other end of the road, instead of re-routing due to the road closure. I had to drag my luggage through a very busy road for about 10 minutes. Also, one thing I note is that I can't really plug in my adaptor into the power points properly. It keeps falling off. I had to use some stuff to hold it in place. It's not only here. Most of the places I stayed in Korea had the same problem. The only hotel that I don't have the problem is at Busan, where the power point is built on the table which I can plug it in vertically downwards.
