Raventree Resort Gapyeong

I'm from the country in the US but live in Seoul, so I need the occasional break. I'm not really sure where the previous reviewer has camped before, but having camped in multiple places in the US and Korea throughout my life, I found Raventree to be very comfortable and fitting of being a great place for "glamping." Yes, the price is a bit high. Yes, you have to pay ~30,000 won to make a fire even if you brought your own food to cook, but we knew that beforehand. The price is the downside, but nonetheless, it is quite a nice place to visit. I felt that we were treated very well here. The owner was very kind and generous, including offering bug spray, and continuously checking up on us to make sure everything was okay. The swimming water was clean and refreshing in a very hot and humid August. The sleeping area was very comfortable and we were provided a fan due to it being summer. The bathrooms were actually nicer than I expected for a camp site. I found the views to be very nice, especially in the morning as the mountains were foggy and eventually gave way to a nice sunrise and a blue sky of green mountains. I am a big fan of the Korean countryside, and having traveled to many places throughout the countryside of Korea, I can certainly say I recommend this location for a relaxing getaway.
