Solium Business Hotel

The hotel is perfect as an accommodation. Bed is comfortable. All necessary items for travelers from toiletries, mini refrigerator, hair dryer, torch light to wi-fi access are all perfect. Breakfast buffet has reasonable toast, fruit and cereals for non-Koreans. However, it is a distance from Jinhae - if your purpose of traveling is to enjoy cherry blossom at various sites at Jinhae, maybe hotels at changwon may not be a good idea. Of course, unless you have your own car. We had problem getting a taxi from Jinhae Bus Terminal to Solium Hotel at Changwon. No taxi wanted to travel to Changwon on the Sunday evening during the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival weekend. Luckily, there was a Korean lady who wanted to meet a friend at Changwon, so she managed to persuade a taxi driver to drive us (yes we share a taxi with her) to Changwon. Otherwise, we would have stranded at Jinhae with our baggages. For our fellow Muslim friends, there are 3 halal restaurant in the building opposite Solium Hotel. Two restaurant serving Indian food and one serving Asian dishes. Other than the first day problem, each time we needed a taxi, we requested hotel reception to call a taxi for us. On going back to the hotel (after our sight seeing at Jinhae area), we took the public bus from Jinhae Station bus stop. Can't remember the exact bus number - either 750 or 752. Traveling from Jinhae to Changwon using public bus was easy without our baggage. Solium Hotel is on the 3F and 4F of the building. Hotel lobby is in the 3F. There is a convenience store on 1F - easy for you to get snacks and drinks. Even though hotel staff could not really speak English, they are very pleasant and very helpful. To go anywhere from hotel, get them to write the name of the place in Korean language on a piece of paper and you can show the paper to the taxi driver. If we were to plan for another cherry blossom trip to Jinhae, we would try stay at Jinhae area not Changwon area. By the way, doing a day trip to Jinhae, in our opinion, is not enough to enjoy the so many beautiful places at Jinhae during cherry blossom period.
