Miss Egg Hostel

We stayed at this guesthouse while in Busan. The staff are wonderful! They are there from about 10am until 10pm each day to help you. The guesthouse is located a few blocks from the beach. We felt welcomed in Busan. We had the room with 8 beds in it, and it worked out really well.

Best Experience in Busan

This is your average hostel, so to experienced travelers this location won't be anything special. Shared rooms are equipped with twin bunk beds, a desk, mirror and an AC/heater unit. Bathrooms are shared and there is a washing machine available for a charge. There isn't a full kitchen, just microwave, refrigerator and access to hot/cold filtered water. The redeeming quality is the location, which is an easy 5 min walk from Haeundae Station (exit #1) and about the same walk to Haeundae Beach.

Not very special, but the location is pretty good

We went to this Hostel near Haeundae Beach for Choseok (Korean Holiday) in mid-september. The location in relation to subway and beach as well as cool bars is good, each about a 5 minute walk. 

The hostel had everything that we needed (beds, showers, aircon) - but is was very (and I mean very) dirty. We didn't see any staff there for the whole four days (three nights) that we stayed - and were not the only ones living there, if was more like 70-80% booked. Additionally, rooms counld't be locked, there are no lockers for valueables, some lights in the showers were broken.

Overall we were happy to have an accomondation - but very unhappy with it's state as we found it. With sme more maintanance, it could really look as nice as it does on the pictures.

Dirty Chuseok

Hidden in a 3rd floor of a busy commercial building this Egg hostel is a one of the worst places I spent a night. First of all it's not easy to find this place. Four of us got a room with 8 iron bunk beds. Beds a small and lose, make noises with every turn. Bathrooms are shared. No towels. During our stay, we didn't see any staff here. It was like a mystery hostel. Serve your self. Checked out time is 10am. But until 12 noon there was nobody from staff. So just take your time. 
It's not worth, better to find another place!

A bad choice 

When we arrived the hostel, knocked the door multiple time almost violently, and there's no one replying,

So we stay at the stairs because it's already passed the check in time.
After around 15mins the guy inside suddenly came out from the hostel and said that he was "printing" so he can't hear.

When we finally get into the room, 
They provided us a 4 people room while we've already paid for a 5 people charges, asking for additional charges (10000 won a night for the 'extra' person)

Totally unacceptable experience 
Just don't try it, no matter how poor you are.
try to sleep at the beach.
