After a great deal of research, I decided to book a reservation at the King's Chateau, and I wasn't disappointed!  I was warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delightful stay.  The Manager was available, easy to communicate with, and professional in all of her interactions. My room was well appointed and clean and tidy.  My meals were most enjoyable and I especially enjoyed the opportunity to chat with the manager on a more personal 'one-to-one' basis over morning coffee.  My morning coffee with the manager was a great way to start the day because the manager took the opportunity to share a few minutes of her busy schedule with me.  Don't pass up an opportunity to visit this hidden treasure.

What a lovely place with friendly staff and excellent service.! They make you feel at home and goes the extra mile to make it a home away from home. I would definitely recommend King Chateau to everybody that needs a place to stay in Klerksdorp.

Stay at Kings Chateau

This was a lovely overnight accommodation and the breakfast was fantastic. 

The Staff and Management was very friendly and kind. 

There is a feeling of warmth and love when entering, the kind of warmth when you enter a friend or family's house.

The trip was marvelous and the reception was welcoming. The place was very clean and the rooms were quiet nice. The shopping centre was not far from where we stayed and the place has a peace of mind. I was very impressed so far with everything and i would not mind to go back again to spend  my long weekend holidays at the Guesthouse.

Weekend away with family

Beautifull Gardens. Great Location. Friendly staff. Very clean. 
Stayed in the "Courtyard Room"  The pictures does not show what you get.  It is not a great room. Will not recomend this room for anyone.  The rest of the rooms are beautifull.  Saturday breakfast was nice. No cooked sunday breakfast.  

King's Chateau

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was served at exactly the time that I requested. I would recommend the king's chateau to family and friends travelling to Klerksdorp.

Nice & clean guesthouse, spacious rooms, upgraded bathroom. The friendly staff is definately a bonus..... wow!!! Breakfast 5star, a wide variaty. Good location, easy to find.
Will definately visit again.secure parking and love the dicks.


Good value!

Besides having some challenges to find the location it was a very pleasant stay. From the check in to having the choice to choose a room everything was clean and very presentable. Everything was well explained and I was given the freedom to come and go as I pleased. Breakfast was minimal but good and had some verity options. Overall my stay was very pleasant and welcoming.

Pleasant Stay

I now remember why I did not enjoy my stay at The King's Chateau the last time. It is not a welcoming experience to arrive at the guest house. I rang the bell at the gate, but no response (you have to get out of the car to ring the bell). Then I phoned, but no response. The gate was opened only after hooting. 

The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious.

Not welcoming

The  room was very small,no place to sit. Also no aircon or fridge. The breakfast was cold and not up to standard. Also not enough parking. Woke up at six o clock to move my car so somebody could get
   out .
