Robin's Nest

We had a great stay at Robin's nest! The room was beautiful and definitely worth our money. It was quiet and beautiful and we head a great sleep. The room was all prepared for load shedding with nice emergency lights and the stay was very easy for us without us having to worry about anything.

We were welcomed very friendly, told us a bit about the history of the guesthouse.  Rooms are lovely and love the balcony and the views.  Very central. We could arrange to stay a bit longer after the normal departure time. All around impressive.

We as a group of 7 cyclists stayed at Robin's Nest the weekend of 28 January 2002.  The new owner Geta was extremely accommodating in terms of lockup for our bikes! The rooms themselves were perfect!  Lovely big comfortable Queen bed with white percale linen, excellent showers (one room had a bath only), adequate self-catering (we at out anyway) and the most tranquil garden setting.  For us it was about 200m from the start of the Hemel en Aarde Cycle Trail, and literally behind the Hermanspietersfontein Market.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

We and friends of ou r's used Robin's Nest only for one night. The overall review from my side is that it was so peaceful and with nicest view from where we sat with a coffee in hand the following morning, we can just imagine how it will be if you stay a couple of days! 

We had a lovely stay at Robin's Nest. They were open to accommodate us with an early check in and then gave us a very nice and clean room. Very spacious room with en-suite bathroom. Beautiful views of the gardens from the balcony! Very safe as the location is in a security estate. Great location if you're looking for accommodation close to the Hemel and Aarde Valley.                                                                                                                   

Staying at Robin's Nest was a great experience! The room and all the facilities were excellent. The surrounding mountains and gardens are spectacular and present a wonderful tranquil space to truly relax.

Second visit, same room. Everything to hand, wanting for nothing. The lovely views from the balcony and the peace and tranquility are just the thing during this awful pandemic. Leonie and Jan remain excellent hosts and were attentive as ever. We love this place!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The room was pristinely clean and very comfortable. The view was beautiful and the setting tranquil. Leonie was a friendly but discrete hostess. We would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Robin's Nest. We were greeted by Leonie, an outstanding host. Everything, from linnen to kitchenette was clean and higienic. We will definitely make use of this guest house when we visit Hermanus again.

The room was clean and well appointed.  The garden is beautiful.  It was quiet and very close to restaurants as well as to the Hemel en Aarde Wine Route.  Due to the heat and the loadshedding the room was very hot.  I would recommend that you consider installing a ceiling fan in the room.  It would also be a great value add to offer daily servicing of the rooms for a small fee since you have the staff on the premises.  It was a lovely stay and we would certainly return.  Thank you

Robin's Nest Onrus

Great stay!

I stayed during the week for 2 nights. It was quiet and peaceful and the room was very comfortable. It is decent in size and has all the basic amenities and a beautiful view from the balcony patio. The location is great and there are convenience shops nearby where you can get meals. Ideal for a quick getaway or a business trip. 

Delightful stay at Robin's Nest

Location is a quick drive from town centre and is a nice peaceful breakaway from our busy lives. Walking distance from some nice restaurants and a quick drive up the road to some winefarms. 

Room was clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable and could sleep in because of the peaceful neighborhood.

Would definately use this accomodation again.

Leonie and her beautiful Labrador, Ruby very warmly welcomed us.Cottages very well equipped. .also a good selection of tea and coffee provided. Garden so peaceful and beautiful.Great restuarants within walking distance. We had an amazing stay at Robins nest.  Leonie... you are amazing. thank you for a pleasant stay!!!!
