Since the town is a ski resort in winter, it is designed for families with their gear, so the room was bigger than I needed for only me and my one bag. Quite new and very nice, with modern furnishings, carpet, tile, and bathroom fixtures. Unfortunately no English channels on the cable TV, only Slovak or Czech. Very nice restaurant downstairs (“Culinarium”) which also served breakfast. I know that most guests arrive by car, but if you walk from the train station as I did, it is a little hard to find because the restaurant and a sports shop are in front, hiding the penzion, and the sign is not very visible. The manager is very nice and speaks fluent English, she stops by at breakfast every morning to say hello and see how things are for you. Only complaint is that there is no facial tissue in the bathroom, only toilet tissue. A tiny nit, to be sure. I would definitely stay again.
