Coté Sud - Unique Villa & Bungalows Intendance Road

I have already been to Coté Sud twice, it is my favorite place on Mahé. It has an ideal position for those who, rather than lying on the beach in front of their hotel every day, want to discover the beauty of the beaches and nature of all of Mahé. Of course you need a car. Nearby are, in my opinion, some of the most beautiful beaches on Mahé: Anse Intendance (ride on big waves, bar with drinks), Anse Soleil (my favorite, coral reef on the left, restaurant right on the beach), or Petite Annse (passage through the Four Seasons resort). I also recommend a trip to Port Luanay (large coral reefs), a visit to Port Glaud waterfalls, a trek to Morne Blanc, visit to Kot Man-Ya Exotic Flower Garden, or grilling shrimp or fish on lava stones in Marias Rock Cafeteria with a visit to the Antonio (old Italian) gallery right in the restaurant. 3 fairly well equipped supermarkets by local standards are in close proximity, my favorite is Enjoy Supermarket. In Anse Royale there is a fruit market, a fish market, a fish shop and other shops or an ATM. They often sell fruit and fish right by the road both towards Anse Royale and around Anse La Mouche. I have always stayed in Villa Aranci, a spacious villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, BBQ, large indoor and outdoor seating area, and a small pool just for the use of Aranci residents. The villa (and the other 2 remaining residences) is located in a beautiful garden with palm trees and flowers, which is looked after by a gardener (Sohel from Bangladesh), who lives right next to the building and is happy to help with anything. Next, there is the often present Gemma, who takes care of everything and lives next door, and another lady who, for example, washes the clothes for a fee. Every day they clean the building, make the bed, sometimes change the towels, great service from nice people. The owner Josée is from Italy, responds to emails almost immediately and is very helpful if you need to arrange a car rental, etc.
