72 reviewsWe really enjoyed our stay with Mieke and Adgaly from Guesthouse Diabatalo in the fishing village of Abéné. A beautiful room with a large veranda overlooking the garden. The beach is a five-minute walk away. The Guesthouse is located in a village with all kinds of local restaurants and shops. We met many friendly people in Abéné. Mieke and Adgaly are very helpful and have all kinds of tips for fun activities. Highly recommended is a boat trip and fishing in the Mangroove off the coast of Sénégal, a Batik workshop in Abéné, a taxi moped to all kinds of surrounding villages such as Kafountine and Niafarang, etc. 'And in the evening you can eat in all kinds of restaurants with including delicious fresh fish with a glass of wine, beer, etc. Then of course dancing until late at night. And every morning Mieke provides a delicious breakfast. In short, we spent two wonderful weeks in this typical African fishing village. Thank you Mieke and Adgaly! 🙏🏽
