Excellent location. Good price for accommodation.

The staff is very friendly and ready to help. 

Smart location for those that love to party and dance all night long. 

There is also a place for barbeque.

We arrived over a weekend and all places in Vama were full so I would definitely recommend booking ahead of time. On our third day, we came to Pura Vida where we wanted to stay initially and were able to get a private room with an extra bed for three of us. 
Vlad helped us with everything from doing our laundry, to booking our bus tickets to Varna, to being the ultimate host. Would highly recommend!! Thanks for the great stay!

You will love this place if you are looking for having one of the best times of your life. 

The location is fantastic, just two minutes from the beach and the good parties. 

But what makes this hostel so special is the good vibes it transmits. The manager, Vladimir, wants you to feel comfortable from the very first moment and after two minutes you feel home. Everyone here is very friendly and nice and you could share food, drinks, good moments, parties and experiences with people from all over the world. 

Don't expect a fancy place full of Ikea furnitures, this is not a new hostel. But you will see that bed sheets and towels smell amazing and that's great. What else do you need? 

Pura Vida is the most accurate name they could find for this place! I wish to be back soon!

The price met the expectations and the staff was very nice.The only thing is that there wasn't hot water at 21:00 when we took a shower but the next day at 16:00 all was ok.We didn't came there to sleep although when we came back at 05:00 it was quiet.We didn't make noise,nobody woke us.The location is central.

Great place with nice energy!! Perfect location. We couldn’t catch our train from Brasov so we arrived one day later. Vladimir was really kind with us and switched our reservation. He also helped us to book our transfer to the AirPort in Bucarest. Gracias!! Pura vida

Great location, helpful staff and overall great place to stay in Vama Veche.

Best hostel I have ever been!

Good vibes!

The place is AWFUL. The smell in unbearable, the bathroom had A FROG in it, the toilet was dirty from the people before us, the sink has holes that were sealed with white silicone, the cables from the light fixtures were out from the wall. So the door that squeaks was the least of our problems. 
THE BED SHEETS WERE NOT CHANGED before us and the matress gave us both severe back pains in the morning. 
There is no real possibility to let a window cracked, and you don't even want that, because the music was cranked up to the max and 10-15 people were shouting in order to hear themselves at night. The party was outside our door. Half a meter at most. The cost per night was higher than other clean places, so the whole combination is a NIGTHMARE. Steer CLEAR AWAY FROM IT if you value your health and serenity.

WORST ACCOMODATION EVER

Overall terrible ratio in regards to quality - price. Paying for a regular hotel room for two people, getting considerable bellow average quality of a hostel.  

They have a few better rooms upstairs, which appear in the photos. The ones below are pretty terrible.

Make sure to check which room you are getting...

Don't go there, it's horrible. Dirty, no AC, no toilet in the room, and the one existing toilet - at the end of the hallway - looks like sh##...
You can do much better for the money they are charging...

I don't recommend, Very messy, the toilet doesen't been Washed and desinfected Before we arrived. And also, the cockroaches appeared! The poorest place to stay I do understand it s vama veche the place where hippie and drunken are partying, but not in this conditions
