Set up the hill from the tourist strip this hotel is a step back in time. It feels like an old mansion with a patina of age that adds to its charm and feels right in this enchanted country. Carmen, who seems to do everything at the Hotel was genuinely warm and caring and made our stay really nice. There is a lot to do in the area but be warned it gets quite crowded on weekends and the traffic can be rough. 

We were on our way towards Baia Mare And stopped FOR two nights in Târgu Mureș At Pensiunea Ana-Maria.
We have chosen this location due to ITS very good reviews And we did not regretted it.
There are Nice people, good breakfast And clean rooms.
They have also free parking.
The location it is very Close to The centre of Târgu Mureș.
Even it is Close to a very busy street we were not bothered by Any noise.
I fully recommend This place.


Very nice and friendly owners, interesting and original furniture and decorations, good breakfast with a lot of local traditional dishes, excellent location (close to city center). 
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tg Mures!

It's located close to the city center and it's a nice place with helpful personnel.The breakfast they serve is nice and the atmosphere is friendly. Worth spending some time there while visiting Tirgu-Mures.

A traditional pensiunea with large rooms and narrow corridors and obviously no lift. The road it is on is quite busy however it has parking in a garage opposite for 3/4 cars. The staff was friendly despite our language issues (we don't speak much Romanian) and helped us park the car by stopping the traffic. The room was quite big with a terrace with lots of plants which overlooked the road. The room we had had a 4 poster bed complete with many mirrors in the sleeping area and a table with chairs and another bed/sofa in the lounge area. To our tastes the room was very dated, to others it may be quaint. The bathroom was adequate but again dated. There was no hairdryer (which is an issue for me) or tea/coffee facilities but there was a fridge. Even without a/c or a fan, the temperature was fine. The breakfast was just as the picture showed, an array of fresh, regional produce which was displayed in an attractive way and was very tasty.
