Excelent location, very good service, friendly staff.
Clean rooms. Quite place.
Excellent for a family looking for a nice place to stay.
Thw restaurant nearby is absolutely fabulous - traditional Romanian dishes, excellent staff.
Early booking is a must.

Highly recommend (but keep it secret)

We arrived to early in the morning, long before the time for check-in, but it was allowed to let our luggage at the reception, change our clothes and go to the beach. They had some problems so they couldn't make the check-in in time, so I got sunburns staying to much time in the sun. I was able to get in our room only at 4 p.m. The rooms were clean, being renovated and having new furniture, but the bed was too small; it was a sofa opened for sleeping and I was wondering how could sleep in that bed 2 oversized persons. We had enough space, being slim...  The breakfast was fulfilling. Although I enjoyed being there.

Eforie Nord - accomodation on the beach

It is a little surprising how places like this can have an functioning permit. It looks so old and "untouched"....No improvements were done here probably since it was built (beginning of the '90s, so about 20 years ago). Some rooms have 3 stars and some others have 2 stars. The 3 star room look like 1.5 stars and the 2 stars look.....below 1 star. Something like the cheapest motel for brothel activities on the side of a country road.
The breakfast is poor. There is a half board option, with breakfast and lunch (not dinner), but the lunch means only one type of soup and one dish. No choices. Not even 2-3 dishes. Take it or leave it kind of thing.
Overall, it is a horrible place.
And the prices...ohh. Starting from approx. 50 Euros /night for a "3 star" room. For this wreck it is too expensive.
The only good thing about it is that it is right on the beach, and just at its right there is the nudist beach. So just for this, it might worth 2-3 nights. Otherwise, forget the place even exists. 
It has a big parking (free of charge). 
Too bad for a very good location, between Eforie Nord & Eforie Sud.

The place is a wreck, but it's on the beach

This place was terrible beyond words.

Booked a room for two nights and was told I was lucky - it was their best room.

Arrived to be 'greeted' (I use the word loosely) by the one of the most miserable looking and unfriendliest hotel receptionists I've had the misfortune to meet.  She told us that our room was only available for one night and we would need to move the following day.  We protested, but eventually accepted the arrangement on the basis that the second room was just as good (next door).

Went to the restaurant for dinner - was rudely told that no food served after 1700.  Asked for a suggestion about where to eat and simply got a shrug of the shoulders.

Next morning we went to reception to enquire about our move to the second room.  Was told we needed to check out of first room by 1200 and that full payment for 1 st night was required.  New room would be allocated at 1800!!  Refused to agree to that and said we only check out of room when new one allocated and that we would only pay on final check out as originally agreed.  Then told we could keep our room and would be called when new room ready/

After several hours received a call to say the hotel was full and we had to leave.  After arguing, attempts were made by hotel to find another hotel but nothing.  Finally offered a single room at the back of the hotel with a view over a derelict building.  Before been given this room hotel again demanded payment for 1st night.  Refused and told them I would only pay on final check out.  Hotel manager intervened.  Without even acknowledging our existence and after lots of sighing and looks of disgust, agreed we could pay the following morning.

Was woken at 0800 on final morning (check out 1200) by hotel receptionist demanding we go to reception to pay.  We'd had enough.  Relaxing weekend completely ruined.  We drove home.

Before we did we looked at the breakfast buffet.  I few plates of half empty slices of ham and cheese curling at the edges with flies.

I will never stay here again and strongly recommend that no else makes the same mistake.

The worst hotel experience in 50 years of travelling

The location is terrible. Looks very old and they have no cleaner for the rooms or they have but I haven't seen such a dirty " 3 star" room. Breakfast is only by name for what they offer. Spider web everywhere and nothing in this complex makes you come back in the room
